The story of the two kidnapped boys in Missouri is both heartbreaking and astonishing. It makes me want to vomit thinking about all the sick pedophiles we have running loose in the world. Having children of my own it makes me terrified to let them out of our site. I still remember watching the movie "Adam" more than 20 years ago and I remember the effect it had on me.

I read a blog post tonight where someone mentioned that on Dec. 1 2005 Shawn Hornbeck (the boy that was held for more than four years) actually posted two messages on the message board of the Website established to help find him.

I found it hard to imagine him being able to do this, so I went to the message board and there it was. Of course the poster (thought to be Shawn) used the first name Shawn and the last name Devlin (the abductors last name) but based on the listed location it seem to be a post from the missing boy.

How sad that the post "how long are you going to look for your son" never raised any red flags. See actual posts below.

This incidence should make investigator go back and look at ever post made on any Website concerning missing children.
